Founder’s Journey

Ellie Markova

Ellie Markova holds a Master of Arts in Christian Counseling and a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies degrees from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary-Charlotte. She centers her work around meeting the most essential need of every person- health. Since 2006, her mission has been to lead individuals on a journey to mental and spiritual health, especially those from countries with limited resources and access to such help.

The Mission

Pathfinders aims to bring the Good News to internationals among us and care for Bulgarians without access to mental health.

Christian Counseling

Offering professional Christian counseling online to natives or anyone residing in countries where mental health is neglected and stigmatized.

Organizing Projects

Organizing projects among 3000+ international students (aka J1s) from Eastern Europe, Asia and Latin America who visit Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Cultivating Relationships

Cultivating organic relationships with individuals belonging to our permanently residing diaspora (Bulgarians, Turkish, Albanians, Russians, Moldovans, etc.)
